Lessons for Life, A Poem by Aastha Kochar

That very moment when we, as a child, were born,
Life brought to us a lifelong irritating horn

No matter how hard we try to throw it away,
It gets even louder with the years passing away

It does not mean that this is all that life has to say,
There are lot many things to explore in the entire way

We do shake hands with everyone we meet,
That's what we have learnt the way to greet

Nobody seems dishonest the first time we meet,
But you never know what comes next while walking the street

It is true that in life there are the genuine relations that we mostly reap,
But it only happens when we begin to know each other really deep

Some stay with us together forever, but
That might not be the case for whomsoever

The best gift given to us by our so-called tough life
Is that it actually made us learn the best way to dive?

Those who came and touched us forever,
They will always be at a level above those who were simply clever

It’s high time that we need to realize,
Loving is not an art in which we need expertise

Being honest in every relation
Is the ultimate key to gain salvation?

Love every soul who stays with you,
And love those even more, who were not that true

Those who did bad to you are already in pain,
If you still love them back then there is at least a chance of their gain

Spread love and then the same would come back to you,
Hatred always damages and never builds anything new...

WINGS OF JOY FLOWN TO SKY....! (Poem)

WINGS OF JOY FLOWN TO SKY....!

He was a boy full of life,
Always dreaming for a beautiful wife,
Studies was something he never liked,
With dear ones he always had a sweet fight !
For frnds he was like a brother ,
For a brother he was a True frnd !
Lavish was his name, we have known him as love....!
Dad called him ustad and he was a mother's pride,
Blessed was his lyf wth the Grl entering in his life,
So deep was his love tht he dreamed her as wife.. !

Lyf was rocking untill it took a twist,
Grl left him nd cancer came in as lyf risk !
Wth pain inside him and willingness to live,
Started his treatment without knowing god's will...
Shattered frm heart but kept a smile on his face,
Tears in his mother's eyes he wanted to erase..!
Prayers, havan, best treatment all his family did,
Saving love's life was the only bid !
Surrounded wth loved ones and cng angel cmng from sky,
Love closed his eyes wth desire to fly......!
Perhaps it is nt the end but beginning of new life,
His soul will blossom again in his loved ones heart and things will be nyc..

KEEP CALM AND PRAY FOR HIM
LOVE WILL COME BACK.......

ONLY GOD KNOWS... A Short Poem

ONLY GOD KNOWS

The love I have for you is,
Unfathomable and unflinching.
Only god knows when,
You’ll see that in my eyes.

I have in past; and
Still making my moves,
Only god knows when,
You’ll notice them.

I know, you are and I,
Your best friend.
But they say and you know,
Friendship is the first step.

Your friendship, I know is worth preserving,
And I will.
But in your beautiful eyes,
For me, I want to see love.

The Ethereal Feeling that I lost… (Poem)

The Ethereal Feeling that I lost…

Promise me when our time has ended
The tears, broken heart and all sorrows have mended
When we say our last goodbye
And there are no more tears left to cry
Promise me that you will keep our memories alive,
For someone new might soon arrive.
For parting is the price we pay
We loved each other and now go our separate ways
I feel something is missing when you walked away all alone,
That night I sat waiting by the phone…
But you won’t be calling right? Because there is no more you.
What we had is gone, no longer shared by you.
What we had is gone and no longer shared by two.
The spark is out, fire extinguished and gone.
The love isn’t personal; it’s for whoever comes along.
But please promise me now while we are on neutral grounds
That you’ll dwell on our memories when the mood comes along.
For I am tough, strong and promise not to cry,
Because I know…
For the every first “Hello”, there is a last “Goodbye”!

A jungle, A campfire, A scream and.... - A Poem by Vidushi Goyal

Once upon a time,
I saw a white light.
In a dark jungle, beneath the sky,
Where all was my dog and I.
.
I had heard of its history,
That lived there a beast.
But it was still a mystery,
'Coz none had ever heard him least.

.
Sitting besides the camp fire,
I got up and got higher,
No one I could see in sight.
But felt the light coming nigh
.
Then suddenly there were screams,
Was someone frightened it seemed,
All I thought of now was rescue,
And thought of running without no clue.
.
But Aghast! My dog didn't come,
Maybe he had known the intruder.
I couldn't leave him all alone,
So I gave up and sad down, oh!
.
As the light drew closer and closer,
I could hear the screams more clearer.
Where had heard those screams I thought,
A movie or in a serial?
.
Then what I saw made me l laugh hard,
Afraid of reptiles was my friend?
She had come here in my search,
With the light of the torch.
.
I laughed, I giggled and I tittered,
That my friend was afraid of squirrels.
We went back home safe and sound,
With my dog I loved even more now.

KASH , A Poem by Sonali Ganguly

KASH

ek bar apne bulaya to hota,
sare rasmo ko tod kr hm chale aate,
pyar se apne maanga to hota,
kadmo par apke hum apni jaan rakh dete.

apke har sitam ko maaf krta ye dil,
palko par apko hum yun bsa lete,
aashiyane ki talash kavi naa hoti hume,
baho me aapke hum sari umr gujar dete.

do kadam apne saath chala to hota,
haaste huye kaanto par se hum gujar jate,
aapne sirf pyar kia to hota,
hum apne tqdir ka rukh modh dete.

kavi koi shikwa hume aapse naa hota,
aapke gumko gale se hum lagalete,
abhi bhi ye soch kar rota h dil,
kash aaj aap humare zindagi me hote.

You came into my mind.... A Poem

Counting the shining star;
And you came into mind,
You gave me a kiss,
You gave me a kiss,
I opened my eyes,
Thought about your love
Your love was  so pure
Whenever you hug me
Whenever you hug me
I feel so secure
Feel so secure
Can you hug me once again?
Can you kiss me once again?
Can you love me once again?
If I ask you so
Will you say no?
I know you still care
Our meeting was planned not so rare;
Almighty wanted us to meet
And  then you became my heartbeat....
Thinking of you makes me smile..
Makes me smile...
You came into mind
And true love I find....

Decoding me, by Aarpan Sahu

In the silver a guy did I see,
In the void of his eyes, an amazing glee.
The grounds of which I sincerely pretend to know,
But tell you what, it was certainly only to show.

I slimmed my lens to get his insight,
All I saw was everything ever more bright.
The dazzling illumination was all in between,
I gasped! nothing worth inside was seen.

Then, I harvested fats in my restless eyes,
His whole face resembled as that of my’s.
I ran my poor focus through the direction of east,
The way which the secret guy prodded me to feet.

There I discovered a dusty diary with a lace,
The pages of which decrypted his mysterious face.

Why did you Leave me?, A poem by Venu Pandey

I need you around, you make me complete..
I wish I could shake you up…hold you tight
and tell how much I loved…
See your love is here…I need you back.
C’mon say you love me too….
Just as you always do…
REMEMBER…you promised me life…just ME n YOU…
Together…would be close…hand in hand….
both in highs and lows….
No matter how hard is it…we would never be apart..
REMEMBER… you promise..so why…now its you…
who is doing so…????
C’mon..open your eyes..
Lets have a sweet morning fight..
Hey…come to me…there is no one by my side..
Listen to me.. I have so much to say…
M dying…. I can't see you walk away.
Wake up and tell me its just a horrible dream..
Stop playing mock..
You know how much I hate these silent screams…
OHH…!!!!!
Without you….
There is not an option rather..
All I know is I want you back..
Love you hard…..
and to do same for the next so many lives together…………

“FIR HUA YOOON…
K HUM KABHI NA MIL SAKE…….
.
.
.
VO CHAL PADA APNE RASTE…
M APNE RASTE....”

Be The One, A Poem by Lalima Yadav

All my life , I lived
I lived only those moments
Moments I had with you
And when today , after the change
Everything is as before,
Oh yea ! Now that same.

My heart has so felt ,
That you were the one ,
My that only one ,
Whom I can't ever forgotten
My only one , my number one
Yeah , you'll be always the one
My number one !!

Those days you brought me
Millions cheers,
You made me strong
Let me overcome
My fears ,
Now when you are gone ,
Oh whatever the reasons are ,
Please , don't say me wrong !

All my life , I lived
I lived those moments
I had with you!
My heart has so felt ,
That you were the one ,
My only one ,
Whom I can't ever forgotten !
My only one , my number one ,
Yeah ! You'll be always THE ONE !!

I MISS MY HOME, by Vinny Muchhal

I miss my home,
the place where all my happiness resides,
I miss my heavenly palace,
where i seldom take heaven rides.

my parents bestow all their blessings,
those are enough for my living,
I keep memories preserved in my heart,
relations for me have become best part.

golden are the times I have spent there,
such feelings rises like heavy shore and are rare,
my mother's pious lap and dad's advice,
those are precious den emeralds and can't be valued in price.

my childhood gradually turned to adulthood,
I keep wondering those and often brood,
I will never put in my way a full-stop,
I will keep moving ahead with no teardrop.

One day you'll Regret, A Poem by Lalima Yadav

So helpless , sobbing bitterly ,
Just can't convince my heart , it beats for you still ,
Yea it do ! Such a silly !!
I thought you to be a good guy , but never did I noticed that you love chasing girls , say a whore
Now I realize, it was my fault that I love you truly and so am suffering much and more. !!
How to confirm you that my heart is now satiable from you ,
Don't you trouble me ,Oh ! Please don't do !!

I oozed the passion and delight when I saw you , the first day
But , I can feel the stab of Indifference ,today !!
Oh..yea ! I know , I am sure , it is because am not the type of those shitters ,
You are a crazy chaser & my heart cries as to me it somehow matters !!
Definitely , because you were my choice , I was once elated ,
But , today am ashamed of the same , and  feel pain to admit you as a shit !!
Bout of anger running through my mind , but a ache in heart ,
Let me tell you that one day ll come to you when you'll regret the loss of respect & I think you must !!
As you took my heart & broke it away ,
Ultimately , you have to face this situation & those days will come to you for longer stay !!

When you will feel the same, A Poem by Wani Ishtiaq

In that eerie ecstasy
Reality blurs out fast
Changing momentarily flare of time
Virtually blocking all senses.

Smouldering the real dreams
Leaving behind hapless ashes
Existing, hoping for a nourish-er
They had seen long time ago.

Where the time snails along
In connecting two souls for life
Still, deep down the insiders
All senses stop to fire, waiting.

Let this barely perceptible breeze
Nurture and carry my feeling
To that distant part of mine
Till you change into that wind.

The desperate insider in my core
Waiting for those moments
When you will feel the same
Sweet tinge of that feeling.

The glowing golden curls
Falling from eternity
Shading the beauties beneath
Of the soul so queer.

Beauty spilling along
The innocent curves of visage
Walls of my heart, vibrating
Within beats echo, reverberating.

Sweet voice so luring
Wishing its clatter again and again
Adding to the strangeness
Simmering in core of my heart.

Fallen to the innocence
Flowering from sweet mannerisms
Summoning my heart out
Sprouting that sacred.

I WISH, A Poem by Venu Pandey.

The sun had gone
there is no light
in abeyance, walking alone
i wish in eternity those heart would get bright.!
Loosing fortitude,frenzy
its aching at heart
Breaking Up.. Yes i Can
i said in pain,deep down
i wish we make it again.!
It passes us, intimate..
D blowing wind
it rolled down
d tiny ball
i wish i may not aberrate!
Disconsolate, i am fading down
its so much load
the destiny won
m cold
i wish it wud get better down the road, down the road.!

"ignoring your glance
hiding wet eyes
you questioned the gliterness
i smiled and lied
deep inside a little heart cried
u never understood nor tried"

Aashiyaan pyar ka, A Poem by Sonali Ganguly

yado ko apne dil se lga kr
kab tak tanha yu chalte rhe hum,
talash hai us pyaar k aashiyane ki
dar hai bas,ruk jae naa mere kadam

dil me kai armano k sapne sja kr
naa jane es rah pr kab tak chali thi,
palat kr jo kavi dekhna chaha
to dhundli ho chuki wo har ek gli thi

manzil to ab tk dur hai humse
kaid kr chuki mujhe jo zanzeer h,
bas umeed hai us pyar ko pane ki
jo ban chuki ab meri taqdir hai

aao chalo sath us jannat ki aur
naa jane hai kaha wo aashiyaa,
jaha mile pyaar to naa khoye kavi
naa ho dard aur na ho koi gum ka nishaan

pyaar aur khusi jaha sath sath chale
har dua kubul hoti jaha ho,
bas sath apka pura kr de har chahat,
baho me apke rhe aur thehra hua lamha waha ho

Nothing... A Poem by Chaitanya Balijireddy

Tanya frantically moved her mobile phone’s cursor up and down the screen. The key tone was too loud for it to go unnoticed by Rhea. “What are you doing?”, she asked in a hysterical tone. She rolled her eyes, indicating that the professor had noticed Tanya’s distracted presence. Rhea questioned her again, this time by knitting and throwing her brows up. Tanya didn’t care. She just wanted one thing. Badly. His message. Just a word from him will end her throb. That would just be enough to keep her happy for the rest of the week. But to Rhea, she bit her lips and said, “Nothing.”

Adeyemi wasn’t even paying attention to the client. Today seemed weird.   Never have his eyes fallen on that picture frame on the table. They may have, but not like today. The photo sort of froze his mind. “Mr.Ade, is there anything that doesn’t appeal to you in this deal?”, Phoebe asked him politely, she found him lost. He didn’t have that perkiness for some odd reason. For Ade, the reason wasn’t odd. “No. Nothing!”, he shook his head. But he was full of his son’s memories, no deal can bring them back, can they?

“Mademoiselle!”, the ticket inspector yelled for the fifth time. Max twitched finally. “Ou est votre ticket?”, he grunted impatiently. “Ah! Je suis desolee!, she stammered in a heavily accented French. The train had been speeding it’s way from Paris to Nice. The last time she was here was with Jennifer. Felt like ages. She apologised to the guy, and pulled out her ticket. “Whath izz wronga meiz?”, asked the ticket inspector. “Nothing”, was the reply. He groaned and moved out at the following stop. A time machine was all Max needed. But another part of heart sounded bolder - “All this, only for your good.” that was soothing. Jennifer should have never been part of Max’s life. However, she had gotten in way too much.

Nothing. A word that defends the inside of our heart. Did you know the meaning of nothing?

Time waits for none.
Days pass and years are gone.
You miss your loved ones,
You want to see them at least once.
You lose your close ones.
You want to talk to them at least once.
Friends change.
Relationships change.
Old ones are forgotten,
New ones are made.
But your heart still carries those moments,
Which seem to have been engraved in it forever.
And whether you want them or not,
They are always there,
Making you sad at happy times,
And happy during your lows.
When you are flashed with these memories,
You either smile at their beauty,
Or cry for the pain.
You either laugh at the innocence,
Or curse their occurrence.
And when you think about these,
Your face helplessly reveals your heart.
Someone asks you the reason for that expression,
The tear or the smile, the tranquil or the frown.
Without a second thought,
Without a pause,
You simply say,

NOTHING!

-Cheers

HOME SWEET HOME, A Poem by Sonali Ganguly

An epitome of peace and synonym of joy,
A loving bond which time fails to destroy.
Where ecstasy resides and everywhere does happiness roam,
I feel glad to say it's my home sweet home.

Which taught me the lessons with the passing day,
The angels even blessed it while crossing the way,
Enclosed with affection, it's the blissful abode,
Where more fast than time, does the dreams ever rode.

In the midst of this yard my childhood spent.
The flash of these days often makes me repent,
Those were the days which found every relation,
Now they are the broken tags, only mere emotion.
My heavenly palace where princess am i,
Blessed by god where wishes never die,
Mom, dad and me has made our small world,
It's as pure as diamond and more precious than emerald.

Mana main pagal thi thodi...
Par pyar tujhe hi krti thi...
Haan in girte askko ke sath,
Main yad tujhe hi krti thi...!!

Mana main ziddi thi thodi...
Par main sath tere hi rhti thi...
Kya hota h pyar dost ka...
Main tjhse seekha krti thi...!!!

Mana main ladti thi thodi...
Par zinda tujhse rahti thi...
Phli bar mili jab tjhse...
Fir to bas tu hi hoti thi...!!

Mana main darti thi thodi...
Par sang tere hi ghoomi thi...
Bas tera hath hi pkda tha...
Bas teri bahon me jhooli thi...!!!

Mana mjhme smajh nhi thodi...
Par tujhko smjha krti thi....
Jab ye duniya hamse jalti thi...
Main sacchi me khush hoti thi...
Jab sb bate bola krte the...
Main sacchi me khush hoti thi...!!

Mana main ab bhi pagal hu thodi...
Par pyar tujhe hi krti hu.....
Par ab hatho me hath tera na hota h...
Vo sath tera na hota h..
Vo yaden teri hoti h....
Par ab yad tujhe na krti hu....
Mana main pagal hu thodi...
Pr ab bhi pyar tjhe hi krti hu...!!!

SOUNDS Of SILENCE... by Sandhya Sai

Can any Being hear the SOUNDS Of SILENCE???

Having cried so many tears
For the count in million years
For that pain in these tender Hearts
Insensitive MORTALS being the reason and the cause to be torn apart

Bearing burdens of unsaid Stories and unheard cries
Of unseen wounds and shattered PRIDE
CROWNED were these harmless SOULS behind the veils, with Thorns
And DEAF are the so called "Superior Race of the Evolution" and the by gones

Can any Being hear the SOUNDS Of SILENCE???

Born in this world, where existed Demons in the form of mortals,
Is SHE punished to serve them as slaves???
or Is SHE here to teach them the lessons on the Art of Living???
or Is SHE here to Learn to Survive???

SHE is the inspiration for every growth and praised as the cause for every existence
SHE is every Dreamer's DREAM and every Poet's POEM
Every Painter's Imagination and every Sculptor's quest for Perfection
They all say...,"without HER, LIFE is Incomplete",

But then Why???

Why does'nt any Being hear the SOUNDS Of SILENCE???

Every Man can praise HER beauty,
From the tip of HER hair...to the sparkle of HER anklets...
From the sweetness in HER talk... to the grace in HER walk...
But why can't HE see the depth of the ocean in HER eyes and the burden on HER heart???

HER every surrender...was by force and every struggle against...was given names
For every sacrifice, was WORSHIPPED as GODDESS
But SHE is not here to be worshipped and does not want praise
SHE is HUMAN too and LOVE is all what it takes

Why does'nt any Being hear the SOUNDS Of SILENCE???

Its been Ages now
And the struggle for survival is still ON
It might take Ages further
For the FREEDOM to EXIST with PRIDE and HONOUR

Please listen to the SOUNDS Of SILENCE...they have a lot to say

PLEA... for Survival...
PLEA... for Existence...
PLEA... for Self-Expression

A poem by:-

Sandhya Sai

Down the way....

Down the way, walking through an empty lane,
Looking all around, I realised the Earth’s in pain.
As I moved further down, I heard a painful cry,
It tore my heart apart; of this I wouldn’t lie.

I searched all the way, but alas! It was in vain,
It then started getting dark and it was about to rain.
So, I was compelled to take shelter under a dead tree,
And you must be wondering why I chose a dead tree?

Because in that lane and many others on the Earth,
No tree was left alive, No sapling taking birth.
In no time, I realised it was the tree crying,
I turned towards it and hoped I wasn’t prying!

“Oh! Dear Tree, why are you sad and shedding tears?”
“Because I am dying and nobody cares.”
I wasn’t expecting a reply but still continued with it.
“No, don’t sound so hurt.” I assured I will hear it.

So, the tree began narrating me its whole tragic story,
And I sat on its dried branches to hear its glory.
“Once upon a time, I was thick and green and a living creature,
I was selfless and an important part of a flawless nature.

Brooks, rivers, and the seas added to the scenery,
Mountains and valleys created an atmosphere of tranquillity.
For many million years, we continued to make the Earth stunning,
We served the human race in every manner without whining.

But soon all men turned into some hungry devil,
They murdered me and kept getting more and more evil.
I shouted and it stormed, I showed my wrath,
I cried and it rained, I was nearing my death.

Today the Earth that used to be ‘green’ has become all black,
Plumes of smoke, CFCs, garbage and plastic lay on its deck.”
Hearing of the slain; in a disturbed tone I asked the sad tree,
“Dear tree, thou seem to be heartbroken, who brought this plight to thee?”

The tree then fumed at me and gave me a stern glance,
“The human race is to be blamed for killing me with a lance.
Shade, wood, fruits, water, and air; to make him feel comfortable,
I gave everything I could; in return it made my life a sad fable.

The men will be punished for this slaughter,
Now sorrow will prevail, no place for laughter.
In their mad race, they contaminated their environment,
Am dying but am sure the whole human race will lament.”

I had teary eyes as with this the tree breathed its last,
I sat there for long and watched it mixing with the past.
Glancing at the corpse I hoped and prayed for a better tomorrow,
Planting trees and nurturing them can save us from the sorrow.

That encounter with the dying tree made me realise,
We need to wake up from our prolonged sleep and open our eyes.
It’s us, who created a hell out of heaven on the Earth,
And therefore only we can once again give it a ‘New Birth’!
