Time flies over us, but leaves its shadow behind.
It
has been said, 'time heals all wounds.' Physical wounds may heal but the inner
wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar
tissue and the pain lessens. But it is never gone.
Aradhya
has started going to college, now they are into third year of their engineering;
she is still hopping a bit but is now walking by herself. She asked Priya to
help her in finding him, but their efforts went futile, Priya was of no help,
she couldn’t generate any information required.
Finally
Aradhya has given up in finding him, only time can answer few questions.
On
their day of third year examinations, Aradhya and her friends were studying
near the college library , Ananya who was the topper of their batch and the
only girl who prepares at home for examination , was explaining all the topics to
others.
Aradhya got bored with
the preparing and casually raised her head to observe her friends; everyone is
deeply engrossed in their preparation, she was aimlessly seeing in all the
directions, she noticed someone familiar coming out from the library. It’s Him!!!
‘Oh my god, Its
Naveen!’
She threw her books on
to the ground and walked towards him in a hurry, all her friends were
astonished at her behavior, Priya called out to her but priya’s shouting fell
on deaf ears.
She walked hurriedly
towards him, she don’t want to miss him now. She was almost running towards him.
She stood before him puffing and panting because of running towards him and was
out of breath, after gaining her stability, she asked him
“Naveen!!!
What
happened to you?”
He was shocked to see her,
after so many months, almost a year; he was taken aback by seeing her.
“Naveen, tell what
happened to you all these days, I’ve been waiting for you, I thought something
has happened to you? Why Naveen, why didn’t you turn up after that accident, I
know it was you who has taken me to the hospital” she stopped waiting for an
answer from him
He was unmoved; he was
just staring at her blankly.
“Naveen open up your mouth,
tell me something”
“I have an campus
interview now , I need to leave” with that he left the place without even listening
to her words ,leaving her where she was , she was stunned at his behavior , she
was staring at him and tears started rolling down her cheeks.
‘Was this the answer
for all my pain?? What happened to him? Why was he changed? Is this what I have
been waiting for?’ there was no end for her pain , she thought after finding
him all her pain would vanish away , but it has been doubled.
