Never Together... Never Apart... PART-2

Don’t be arrogant, don’t be so rude and never judge anyone… Because you never know, what the person is hiding behind his/her smile.

******
I didn't like the school very much. Faculties always pushed me beneath their complaints against my notorious behavior. Each day I had a new prank to make my faculties cry in anger. I never let my Math’s teacher to complete the lectures and maybe that’s why Samar had a deep harshness towards me. He used to stare at me with I-will-kill-you-soon eyes and I used to smile back with an I-know you-hate-me-and-I-love-that expressions.

However, his behavior was actually disturbing my sleep at nights. How could he hate me without even knowing me? He couldn’t even pronounce my name correctly. I heard him sometimes going to the teacher and complaining about me with the wrong pronunciation. “Mam, Parineeta did this,” “Mam, Parineeta did that,” Huh, he couldn’t even remember the name of the person he hated.

His complaints never bothered me. However, his hate full eyes did. I often think how a human being can hate another human being for no reason. Pre-assumptions always create misunderstandings and differences. We were already two different poles and now he used to stare at me as if I was a tuna fish and he was a hungry guy, carving to kill and eat me completely. It was annoying me drastically.

One fine day, my urge to ask him the reasons behind his cruel behavior crossed all limits and finally, I asked him.

It was the happiest thing happened with me that day. Oh, yes! The faculty was absent. No faculty meant no boring lecture. A free period meant we could roam around and do whatever we wish to do. My devil mind was already planning something big.

‘Let’s unlock the blackboard and when the next teacher will come. BANG! Game over. And Tomorrow she will be the absent one’ my devil mind planned. I grimaced in approval and waited for the whole class to disappear, so that I could do my job without leaving any clue behind.

As per the plan, students started leaving the class in their respective groups. In no time, the class was all-vacant. It looked like as if I was in the land of graves.

I made my move towards the blackboard. I left few benches behind and the very next moment I noticed a creepy soul out of a grave jotting down some worthless stuff in his notebook. He was none other than Samar.

“Hey, what are you doing?” I gave a healthy push to the conversation.

“Don’t you dare to disturb me again? I am not disturbing you. Do whatever your dirty mind is planning. I won’t disturb you and you will do the same,” he said in his arrogant voice.

He didn’t even bother to move his head up. His eyes were glued to the notebook. I ignored him for a while, as I had some urgent work to do.

My geometry box tools were enough to do the operations with the board hung on the wall next to the entrance. I hooked it with a very little support. A healthy touch and it would definitely kiss the ground.

I knew Samar was noticing me doing all this and probably, he was amazed to see me doing the heavy task quite easily. In no time, I packed my geometry box and rushed to my seat. I noticed him shutting his notebook. For the first time I noticed him without books and pens. He was a good-looking guy. All he needed to do was looking around to the girls-cum-bees around, instead of his neatly brown covered notebooks.

“Why you hate me so much?” I asked as my pink wristwatch told me that there is a plenty of time to kill. He was the last person present in the class. I had no choice left; Uff! My talkative behavior. In addition, I had a stomach-paining urge to know the reason behind his rude behavior towards me.

“I don’t hate you. I just don’t find you worth talking,” he declared.

“Any proper reason?” I investigated like a CID inspector.

“No” he replied and opened another notebook, whereas I remained quite. He finally moved his chin up to have a look at me. He noticed that strangeness in my silence. He was hoping a reply, not the silence.

He judged it right. My eyes were wet. But, I didn’t want to cry in front of that studious moron. Nor he even bothered to ask why my eyes were wet.

“Why you always try to seek attention with your pranks?” he asked.

His question was enough to pinch my heart. The pinch made a hole in my delicate heart and blood of emotions started flowing. My eyes were finally proclaiming the dew pearls.

“Because my dad never gave me his time; all he can see is MONEY! MONEY1 MONEY!. Being a human being I want at least someone to expense some time with me. All I needed to hear are four-five words a day. ‘How was the day, beta? ‘Had lunch, beta?’ ‘Is everything alright?’ But no, he never even uttered a single word.

Yes, he gifted me an I-phone but he didn’t even have my number saved in his mobile. I often call him after the school. He picks and asks ‘Who’s this?’” I wiped my tears; which were interrupting my lips to smile. I wiped them off completely.

Bell rang!! I started walking back to my seat. Students also started to enter the class.

“This is what we call a Dad-daughter relationship,” I stayed and continued, controlling my sob. “And you know Mr. Samar you behave like my dad” I completed, giving my legs a momentum.

Teacher came and gripped the blackboard to draw a diagram. As per my calculations and usefulness of geometry box, it fell down hitting his toes. Teacher cried out in pain and whole class was rolling on floor laughing. I was no more interested in the prank I set, thanks to my mood swing.

“Who did it?” Teacher questioned to the most studious student-cum-monitor of the class, Samar.

“He looked at me from the corner of his eye and said “I don’t know”.

School ended briskly and I felt like talking to Samar before leaving back to home. I paced myself, hanging my fastrack bag on my shoulders and start walking beside him.

“Why you saved me?” I asked without any Hii-Hello.

“I didn’t save you. I saved myself from the beast in me” he said and disappeared.

are written by brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are posting on other sites, I would like to keep up with you.

  3. Overall, this carrier is the cream of the crop when it comes to rear bike carriers, allowing for a secure and custom-fit that's solid, long-lasting and
high-quality. There are two features on the Thule 594XT Sidearm to deter theft.
Also, its placement on the handlebars instead of the main frame gives
    me more control in corners.
